The weekend of August 10th is set to be filled with sporting events for outdoor sports enthusiasts in the provinces surrounding the Lake Garda. On Friday, August 8th, Villanuova sul Chiese will host the “Memorial G. Bonori,” a Fidal race of 7 km starting at 7:30 PM, followed by a recreational event featuring 4 and 7 km routes. On Saturday, August 9th, Montecampione will hold a mountain running event starting at 5:00 PM, while on Sunday, Cimbergo will host the “Cimbergo Volano,” which includes a 6 km course with a positive elevation gain of 650 meters, scheduled for 9:15 AM.
In addition to the running events, soccer will have its place in Desenzano with a triangular match between Desenzano, Giana Erminio, and Union Brescia at the Tre Stelle stadium, set for 5:00 PM. Also on Sunday, Lonato will feature the “5th Walk on the Morainic Hills,” a recreational event offering 3 and 10 km routes with an official start time of 9:00 AM.
