Rovizza Bypass: Work Set to Begin in the Coming Weeks. A press conference was recently held at the Council Chamber of Palazzo Broletto, where the works for the Rovizza bypass were officially announced. This long-awaited project, which has been in the pipeline since 2000, will affect the areas of Pozzolengo and Peschiera del Garda. The event was attended by prominent figures such as Emanuele Moraschini, President of the Province of Brescia, along with the mayors of the two involved cities. The main objective of the project is to improve access to Lake Garda and optimize connections between Brescia, Verona, and Mantova.
The plan includes the construction of a short road segment in Peschiera del Garda and a new roundabout in Pozzolengo along Provincial Road 13. The design has been entrusted to SP Ingegneria srl of Verona and was made possible through an agreement signed on July 26, 2022. The total cost of the intervention amounts to 2,400,000 euros, divided into 1,255,000 euros for the construction work and 1,145,000 euros for administrative expenses. If the timeline is adhered to, the construction sites are expected to open in about a month, marking the beginning of an important phase for the local infrastructure.
