Stefano Zane has been appointed the new president of the Board of Directors of MuSa, the civic museum of Salò, following the decision made by the municipal administration led by Mayor Francesco Cagnini. The new management team also includes Elena Ledda as vice president, along with members Luca Amarelli, Diego Toscani, and Paola Comini. Zane, the CEO of the consulting firm Vitale-Zane & Co., will be supported by Ledda, an expert in historical and literary studies, to pursue an innovative and cultural vision for the museum.
Coinciding with this appointment, MuSa is set to conclude the season with a record of 17,000 visitors, surpassing last year’s figures. This success is attributed to the inauguration of the new section dedicated to the historical period of the Italian Social Republic and significant events such as the exhibition “From Splendor to Uncertainties 1910 | 1950 Stories from a Private Collection.” The museum will close its doors for the season on January 7, 2025, after experiencing a remarkable increase in visitor numbers.
