Sirmione is gearing up for the inauguration of the exhibition path “Pietra&Co.2025,” an event that promises to enrich the cultural landscape of the area. In recent days, the moat of the Scaligero Castle has welcomed an unusual installation: a pink crocodile titled “The One Who Unites,” created by the artistic collective Cracking Art. This work, inspired by the Nile crocodile, symbolizes the regenerative power of nature and serves as a bridge between ancient and contemporary elements, both visible and invisible. The public art itinerary will extend from Punta Grò to the Grotte di Catullo and will include sculptures, installations, video art, and performances.
The official inauguration of Pietra&Co.2025 is scheduled for Thursday, June 5, at 4:30 PM at the Grotte di Catullo, marking the beginning of a summer season filled with artistic events that intertwine art and territory, thanks to the collaboration with the Brescia Marble Consortium. This event represents an important opportunity to explore contemporary art within the unique historical setting of Sirmione.
