The Strabilio Festival kicked off in Salò with an extraordinary circus performance by Vincent Martinez, which took place on Sunday, June 29, at 9:15 PM in Piazza della Serenissima. The French artist presented “Culbuto,” a bold and poetic act that defies gravity through an innovative rocking tree, captivating the audience and officially opening the fourth edition of the event, which will run until September 7, featuring a total of 30 performances across Garda and Valsabbia.
The event celebrates contemporary circus as an art form and emotional experience, involving artists from various countries. With nearly 10,000 attendees expected in 2024, Strabilio aims to be a significant initiative for enhancing the local area, offering free events accessible to everyone. The artistic direction by Davide Vedovelli emphasizes the importance of this festival in telling universal stories through the language of circus, inviting reflection and emotion in the enchanting setting of Lake Garda.
