StraPuegnago Unveils Second Edition, Featuring Grand Prix Felter Costantino
StraPuegnago (2nd edition), part of the Gran Prix Felter Costantino and listed in the Fidal Brescia calendar, was unveiled last Wednesday at Felter Sport. The event is set for June 14 and features a 9.9 km competitive race plus 4- and 10-km recreational routes, with proceeds funding the Costantino Felter Scholarship for Unipancreas; the Felter family chose mid-June to coincide with the anniversary of Costantino Felter’s death (June 10, 2024).
At the presentation, mayor Silvano Zanelli, councilor Pietro Cobelli, regional councilor Floriano Massardi, and Fidal Brescia president Rolando Perri attended. Dr. Giovanni Butturini and Dr. Ilaria Lovaglio of Pederzoli Hospital in Peschiera announced the scholarship campaign. President Paolo Felter signaled possible surprise reimbursements and opened registration for non-competitive participants on Wedo Sport to run with a bib and receive a medal. The event closed with a short film by Malonno friends and a buffet. Competitors already confirmed include Davide Angilella, Stefano Goffi, Daniele Pini, Michele Massetti, and defending champion Davide Bottarelli; registrations on Wedo Sport are open until June 11.
