The strong winds on Lake Garda caused disruptions yesterday evening, June 30, in Sirmione, where two individuals were rescued from a malfunctioning boat. Around 9:30 PM, the nautical team from the Salò division of the Provincial Command of the Fire Brigade of Brescia intervened in the waters off the municipality to assist the drifting vessel, which had become vulnerable due to adverse weather conditions.
Thanks to the swift action of the responders, the two individuals were secured before the waves and strong winds could worsen the situation. After ensuring their safety, the rescue teams also proceeded to recover the boat, transporting it to a safe area at the port of Desenzano.
