Significant structural interventions have been initiated at the Arco Hospital, funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the Complementary National Plan. This initiative was prompted by the inability to carry out the planned works at the Rovereto hospital due to technical and economic issues. The new project focuses on pavilions A and B of the Alto Garda and Ledro hospital, with a total investment exceeding 9.7 million euros. The aim is to ensure a safer and more functional hospital network for local residents and tourists.
The plan includes the demolition of pavilion A and the construction of a new facility dedicated to general services, along with seismic improvements to pavilion B. The initial phases of the work are set to begin in 2025, with completion expected by 2026. The president of the Province emphasized the importance of this strategic project in strengthening healthcare in the region, while preparatory activities necessary for the implementation of the planned interventions have already commenced.
