A 33-year-old man attempted suicide by jumping from the window of his home in Castiglione delle Stiviere on the evening of Saturday, June 14. The individual, who was in a state of severe psychological distress, had previously inflicted numerous cuts on various parts of his body. Immediately following the fall, emergency services were dispatched and transported the young man, in critical condition, to the Civil Hospital of Brescia for necessary medical care.
The relevant authorities, particularly the Carabinieri of the Monzambano station, are currently conducting thorough investigations to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident and the reasons that led the man to take such an extreme action. At this time, although the 33-year-old’s condition is serious, he is not considered to be in life-threatening danger.
