Summer Exodus 2026: Special A4 Plan Adds More Checks, More Assistance, and Fewer Weekend Roadworks

Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova ha predisposto the “Summer Exodus Management Plan 2026” for weekends between July and August on the A4 Brescia–Padova and the A31 Valdastico, including the toll gates serving Desenzano, Sirmione and Peschiera. The plan focuses on strengthening assistance during peak traffic periods.

The most critical dates are July 24 and 31, August 14, as well as August 28 and September 4 for return travel. Until September 7, works will be suspended on weekends except in emergencies; 259 toll lanes will be available, with extra staff at 63 points, supported by 60 traffic assistants and 20 special vehicles.
