Summer in Salò comes alive with a musical initiative dedicated to lovers of outdoor evenings, combining entertainment with opportunities for local commerce. “Salò in Musica” is the event that will transform the lakeside promenade and the streets of the city into an open-air stage for four Thursdays in June, July, and August, promising to replicate the success of previous editions.
A Journey Through the Notes
The dates to mark on your calendar are June 12, July 3, August 14, and August 21. Starting at 8:30 PM, seven musical stations located along the lakeside and in Fossa will offer a diverse auditory experience. The lineup will range from black music to American jazz of the 1930s and 1940s, including standards, blues, and contemporary pop. Acoustic sounds and vocal performances will reinterpret well-known tracks, inviting the audience to dance and sing along.
Synergies for Commerce and Tourism
The organization of “Salò in Musica,” managed by the Salò ProMotion Merchants’ Association, presents an event that goes beyond music: various businesses will remain open until 11:00 PM, encouraging evening shopping. Additionally, bars and restaurants will have the opportunity to extend their outdoor seating right by the lake, enhancing customer hospitality.
A Proven Success
The previous edition saw the participation of over 4,000 people each evening, a figure that has motivated merchants to propose the initiative again for 2025. Andrea Maggioni, president of the Salò ProMotion Association, emphasized the significance of this event: “These will be four Thursdays dedicated to music and fun; a great example of collaboration between the Municipal Administration, Proloco, and merchants. Not just one event, but four events that encapsulate an entire summer in Salò.”
