A new theft has shaken Moniga del Garda on Sunday afternoon, when a 38-year-old woman was caught attempting to leave the Italmark with unpaid items. This incident is part of a series of recent events in the area, where just days earlier, two individuals had been arrested for a theft at Aldi. The woman, originally from Romania and homeless, was spotted by security personnel as she tried to evade the checkout with a cart containing goods worth over 100 euros, including alcoholic beverages and groceries.
The supermarket staff promptly contacted the authorities, who arrived quickly on the scene to identify the woman through fingerprinting. Following the checks, a formal theft report was filed against her. Authorities continue to monitor the situation in the area to prevent further similar incidents.
