Tax fraud in Riva del Garda: all-you-can-eat restaurant involved

A major tax fraud exceeding 1.2 million euros has been uncovered in Riva del Garda, involving an “all you can eat” restaurant specializing in Asian cuisine. The investigation conducted by the Guardia di Finanza revealed an illicit system for recruiting and employing labor, which began with a check on a business that was officially registered with only one employee but operated daily with a large number of workers. The findings uncovered the irregular employment of 39 employees, who were hired through four complicit companies that fabricated contracts to disguise the true nature of the employment relationship. Six individuals have been reported for issuing and using false invoices, while five companies have been flagged for administrative liability. The Guardia di Finanza also identified unpaid social security contributions exceeding 300,000 euros and imposed labor-related fines totaling approximately 260,000 euros. Investigations are ongoing, and the allegations pertain to the preliminary phase, with the accused considered innocent until a final ruling is made. Italian Version
