Summer 2025 continues in Moniga del Garda with a rich calendar of events dedicated to art exhibitions and street art, offering a visual journey that spans from contemporary muralism to pictorial and photographic expressions. The lakeside municipality confirms its role as a dynamic hub for local culture, enhancing various artistic languages and solidifying its summer offerings.
The Fourth Edition of Street Art in Moniga
The curtain on the artistic summer of Moniga del Garda was raised in conjunction with the “Valtenesi in Rosa” festival, which featured a street art project curated by the True Quality association. Contemporary mural interventions animated the wall located at the bend along the boundary wall of via dell’Artigianato. Now in its fourth edition, the initiative has resulted in the creation of numerous meters of decorations, the work of young artists. Among the artworks on display are notable representations such as a sly cat, a fox alongside ripe bunches of grapes, and pixelated holograms, elements that enrich the urban landscape with a touch of creativity.
The Suggestions of the Photoclub in the Multipurpose Hall
From July 2 to 8, the Multipurpose Hall in Piazza San Martino hosted an exhibition by the Photoclub, showcasing a variety of photographic perspectives. Artist Zuin presented an immersive dialogue with nature, characterized by archaic suggestions and reflections of light on pewter objects among the leaves, with glimpses that evoke almost metaphysical atmospheres. Benedetti explored reflections, capturing the image of a Ferrari on the track through the shiny helmet of a motorcyclist and immortalizing a vintage tailor’s window, complete with a suitcase and retro shoes.
Papa enchanted viewers with a nocturnal vision and an image of three donkeys captured in a rearview mirror on a Mediterranean island. Rosina offered a view of the lakeside sunset in San Felice, while Micheli exhibited a white caper flower veiled in blue among dark shadows, alongside reflections of the Dolomites on an alpine lake. Genky focused on curious small birds near puddles and views of the lake through glass. Vedovelli presented stratospheric mirror games, alongside a family portrait of Bolivians by Merici. Aresi transported visitors to the Po Delta, and Delay played with creative reflections, while Cavellotto captured the shimmering waters of high tide in Venice. Sara Goffi contributed poetic shots of poppies among small reeds and a breath of the lake. The event was organized with the contributions of Mauro Delai, President of the Photoclub, and Councilor Marco Tosoni from the Municipality of Moniga.
The Delicate Painting Harmonies of Cecilia Corradi
From July 16 to 22, the Multipurpose Hall in Piazza San Martino will host the works of Cecilia Corradi. Since 2018, Corradi has developed her painting under the guidance of Elena Brindani. Through her skillful use of the spatula, the artist explores a chromatic world made of pastel colors. Her canvases bring to life glimpses of the Lake Garda, marine views, animals with a poetic aura, snowy woods, and lush flowers, presented in various shades that maintain a festive character.
The Expressive Reflection of Graziano Magro
From July 23 to 29, it will be Graziano Magro’s turn, an artist who presents a more complex vision through a series of works dedicated to reflections on lizards. His creations explore the life of these reptiles and their ability to withstand capture attempts. Magro invites contemplation on the resilience of human beings in the face of adversity. The artist stands out for his distinctive style and marked expressiveness, characterizing his works with a sense of deep introspection. His exhibition follows that of Cecilia Corradi, creating an interesting contrast between styles and themes.
