In the heart of Punta San Vigilio, one of the most charming locations on Lake Garda, a new restaurant is opening its doors, promising to become a reference point for lovers of Mediterranean cuisine. The Riviera Restaurant, part of the gastronomic project of the Rana family, will be led by chef Francesco Sodano.

The Three Souls of Riviera

Riviera combines three welcoming places into one soul, creating three summer oases for an unforgettable experience. Starting tomorrow, July 18th, the fine-dining restaurant and the exclusive panoramic terrace will open to guests, in addition to the Beach Club on the lake shore, which has been active since early July. Each space offers a unique setting and exclusive services, allowing guests to enjoy moments of relaxation and pleasure in a breathtaking setting.

A Tribute to Mediterranean Cuisine

The menu created by Francesco Sodano is a tribute to summer holidays and Mediterranean flavors, with dishes that evoke the sea breeze and the scent of salt. Among the proposals, stand out the “Pacchero with coccio and green chili” and the “Devozione, pasta with Corbarino tomato”. There are also international influences such as “Grilled octopus with Galician emulsion and parsley chlorophyll”, as well as creations that celebrate local ingredients, such as “Trout, sour cream, passion fruit and dill chlorophyll”.

The chef from Campania doesn’t forget the great Italian classics, reinterpreting them with a personal touch: the Milanese cutlet becomes “Swordfish Milanese” while the risotto is enriched with basil extract, 30-month-old Parmigiano Reggiano cream, and almond pesto from Trapani.

A Rich and Varied Wine List

The wine list of Riviera Restaurant is vast and carefully selected, focusing mainly on white wines from Italian regions such as Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Campania, Liguria, and Trentino-Alto Adige. Among the labels, you can find Ribolla Gialla, Timorasso, Fiano, and Chardonnay. There are also rosés ideal for accompanying fish dishes, as well as a careful selection of the best Italian and French reds.

To end every meal on a sweet note, there are iconic desserts by the chef such as “Tiramigiù” or “Raspberry Cheesecake”, accompanied by a small selection of sweet wines including Passito di Garganega and Recioto. A special mention goes to the ice cream menu made with fruit harvested in the Rana family’s orchard.

Art, History, and Design in the Restaurant’s Spaces

Riviera Restaurant: A Journey through Time and Design

A House with History

Riviera Restaurant is located in a narrow and long house that, in aristocratic times, housed the servants. After three centuries, thanks to a poetic conservative restoration, this unique place in the world shines once again, becoming the beating heart of the lives of the guests who choose it. Today, between the two dining rooms, the greenhouse, and the garden, Antonella Rana celebrates the hospitality of the Rana family through a combination of languages: gastronomic, botanical, and artistic.

A Garden of Wonders

Antonella’s passion for hospitality doesn’t stop at the kitchen. The restaurant’s garden is a revived botanical experience, rich in wild herbs and edible flowers. This green space recalls a locus amenus of Arcadia or a medieval hortus conclusus, offering guests a corner of paradise where they can immerse themselves in nature and beauty.

Art and Gastronomy

Riviera Restaurant is not only a place where you eat well, but also a living art museum. The walls are adorned with unusual works of art that transform each table into a harbor of peace, taste, and beauty. Here, the constant search for excellent raw materials intertwines with the discovery of extraordinary artists and artisans, creating a unique environment that welcomes and captivates everyone.

Art Collection: Themes and Symbols

The Vase: Symbol of Preservation

The theme of the vase takes us back to the origins of humanity, to the first attempts to preserve what is precious. In the restaurant’s fireplace, we find the splendid Morandine, marble vases that pay homage to the painter Giorgio Morandi. These vases, together with the shots by Gianni Berengo Gardin, create a suspended conversation in time, giving guests the impression of being in the studio of the great artist.

Memory: Roots and Future

Memory, understood as the root and living testimony of the spirit of life, is a central theme. In the restaurant Italian Version
