Lonato del Garda: a 28-year-old Romanian man was arrested on Saturday, October 19, at the Il Leone shopping center for attempted theft. The man was caught by security personnel while attempting to steal products worth approximately one thousand euros from the Iper supermarket. When asked to stop, he reacted violently, striking the staff with kicks and punches, resulting in several injuries.
After being restrained, the young man was taken into custody by the carabinieri from Desenzano, who were notified during the incident. During a search, the officers also discovered an unspecified quantity of hashish in his possession. The episode raised concerns among customers and staff at the shopping center.
