On the night of Friday, September 12, the **Carabinieri of Bussolengo** thwarted an attempted burglary at the recycling center located on Via Caduti del Lavoro. Two young men, a 34-year-old and a 20-year-old of Albanian descent and without a fixed residence, were caught in the act while trying to steal a bicycle, electrical cables, and electronic equipment valued at several thousand euros. The officers noticed suspicious movements inside the facility during a routine patrol and intervened promptly.
After cutting through the metal fence of the recycling center, the two had already loaded part of the stolen goods into a van parked nearby. Arrested by the Carabinieri, they were held in custody while awaiting a fast-track trial. On the morning of Saturday, September 13, the Judge of the Court validated the arrest but ordered their release, postponing the hearing to October 2025.
