Theft at the pharmacy in Lonato: arrest of a 42-year-old woman

A theft occurred on Tuesday, September 23, at the pharmacy in the “Il Leone” shopping center in Lonato, where a 42-year-old Italian woman attempted to steal products worth approximately 400 euros. In broad daylight, the woman and an accomplice acted quickly, but the vigilance of the staff triggered the security protocol, leading to a request for intervention from the carabinieri. The military, who promptly arrived from Desenzano, thwarted the theft as the two attempted to escape. While the accomplice managed to flee, the 42-year-old, already known to the authorities for previous offenses, was arrested in the act.
