Two homeless citizens from Central Europe were arrested in Sirmione after stealing bottles of alcohol from a supermarket. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the two criminals were spotted trying to flee on two stolen bicycles. Local police and Carabinieri immediately initiated a chase, which ended with the arrest of the suspects in Colombare.

The investigations allowed for the identification of the rightful owners of the bicycles, valued at three thousand and five thousand euros respectively, which were returned to the robbed tourists. The two arrested individuals have been charged with theft and receiving stolen goods.
