A theft incident recently shook Desenzano, when a group of customers consumed bottles of champagne at a lakeside restaurant and then fled without paying a bill of approximately 4,000 euros. The event occurred in the late afternoon at a well-known establishment in the Rivoltella area, where the patrons, visibly elegant and festive, spent the evening toasting and laughing before quickly disappearing.
The owner of the establishment, noticing the lack of payment at the end of the evening, immediately contacted law enforcement to report the incident. Officers launched an investigation by reviewing security camera footage and gathering testimonies from any witnesses present. Images of the group have also been shared on social media in hopes of obtaining useful information to identify those responsible for the theft.
