Theft in store in Villanuova sul Clisi: reported for improper robbery

A busy morning unfolded at a well-known sports store in Villanuova sul Clisi, where a woman was reported for attempted theft after trying to steal items. According to accounts from law enforcement, the woman, a resident of the Garda area, entered the store with the intention of stealing clothing, bringing along a hook and an electronic device to remove anti-theft tags. However, her plan fell apart when staff noticed her suspicious behavior. Cornered, the woman assaulted a sales assistant in an attempt to escape. A patrol from the Local Police of Valle Sabbia, already nearby, promptly intervened, apprehending her as she tried to flee with the tools used to tamper with the anti-theft devices still in her possession. The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the store, while legal proceedings were initiated against the woman at the local Prosecutor’s Office. Italian Version
