Castiglione delle Stiviere: New Nighttime Theft at a School In the night of last Wednesday, an incident of petty crime struck Castiglione delle Stiviere, where unknown individuals carried out a theft at the “Casa del Giovane Don Mario Bottoglia” foundation, a historic school located at 35 Zanardelli Street. The carabinieri from the Operational and Mobile Unit, who responded to the scene, confirmed that the thieves gained entry to the institution by breaking open the gate of the fence. Once in the courtyard, they forced open a vending machine, taking the money inside.
This theft adds to a similar incident that occurred about ten days ago at the Cesare Battisti School on Maifreni Street. Investigators are currently looking into the matter, reviewing surveillance footage and gathering evidence to identify those responsible for this targeted and swift act of vandalism.
