A foreign tourist, aged 61, suffered a medical emergency while in the water at Cisano, along the shore of Bardolino, yesterday afternoon, Thursday, August 14. The man experienced a cardiac arrest and began to sink, but several beachgoers quickly sprang into action, bringing him to shore and initiating resuscitation efforts. Meanwhile, emergency services were alerted, and an ambulance, along with a medical car and the Red Cross hydro-ambulance, was dispatched to the scene.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the rescuers, the tourist was stabilized and revived before being urgently transported to the hospital in Peschiera del Garda for further treatment. The situation was managed with great professionalism by those present and the medical personnel who responded.
