Toscolano Maderno celebrated the triumph of sailor Giulia Conti, winner of the Women’s America’s Cup with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in Barcelona on October 12. During a ceremony organized by the Circolo Vela Toscolano Maderno, the champion was welcomed by club representatives, including president Alcide Morani, who expressed their congratulations and recognition for her significant achievement.
Giulia Conti, originally from Rome but also raised by Lake Garda, has an extensive sporting career that includes numerous Olympic participations and successes at the world and European championships. After concluding her Olympic career, she took on coaching roles in the United States, and in 2024, she returned to competition as co-skipper of Luna Rossa, bringing home a prestigious international title.
