Toscolano Maderno Launches Dragonboat Woman Fest and Women in Dragonboat Initiative

The “Donne in Dragonboat – Sport e Salute” project and the Dragonboat Woman Fest were officially launched on February 28th at Sala Cavandoli in Toscolano Maderno, organized by Remiera Toscolano Maderno with municipal support. The event featured athletes and officials sharing insights on team sports, alongside oncologists and psychologists discussing prevention and the role of sports in breast cancer recovery. Local mayors and Pink Darsena Bardolino athletes attended.

Remiera Toscolano Maderno has been developing a new female team over the past year, with an open day held ahead of the March 14th race in Maderno, attracting many women interested in the sport. The upcoming Dragonboat Woman Fest will include several Italian teams and the international Furie di Barcellona, participating for the first time.
