A new marina at Vialone in Toscolano Maderno is set to become a reality, with plans for over 40 boat slips and a total investment of 3.4 million euros. The municipal council has recently approved the architectural feasibility study, which is the result of a memorandum of understanding with the Garda Lake Basin Authority. This new dock will be located near the Vialone beach, replacing a currently operated marina managed by the Circolo Vela Toscolano Maderno.
The financing for the project includes a contribution of 2.4 million euros requested from the Region as part of the regional planning for 2025-2027, while the remaining one million will be covered by local funds. The existing marina, which occupies approximately 2,200 square meters and is separated by a public pedestrian path, will allocate adequate space for maneuvering and launching boats. Planned works include the maintenance of the existing pier and the construction of a new pier, with the internal area divided into functional zones to facilitate maneuvering and mooring operations. This initiative aims to revitalize a currently neglected area and improve mooring management to accommodate more vessels.
