Toscolano Maderno: The New Port Project Has Been Launched In recent days, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Mayor Chiara Chimini and the Basin Authority, the official process for the construction of a new port in Toscolano Maderno has begun. The project involves replacing the current marina on Via Religione, located near the former Cantieri del Garda. With a total investment of 3.4 million euros, financed by the Lombardy Region (2.4 million) and the Basin Authority (1 million), the works are scheduled to take place between 2025 and 2027.
The new port will be characterized by modernity and functionality, featuring direct access from the lakeside promenade and a redevelopment of the area currently leased to the Circolo Vela Toscolano Maderno. The project includes a slight expansion and a general reorganization of the existing structures, along with the addition of a launching ramp to enhance operational efficiency. As emphasized by Deputy Mayor Vittoria Goi, this represents a significant step towards a long-awaited port redevelopment.
