Toscolano Maderno: Voices of Paper exhibition at the Valley of the Paper Mills
A new exhibition, “Voices of Paper. Life Stories from the Valley of the Paper Mills”, will be inaugurated on Friday, September 26th at 6:00 PM at the Paper Museum in Toscolano Maderno. Curated by Silvia Merigo in collaboration with ASAR, the exhibition aims to tell the stories of the families who lived and worked in the Valley of the Paper Mills, a place rich in artisanal history related to paper production. Through historical documents and period images, visitors will be able to explore the events of the local paper mills up to the 20th century, symbolically tracing the path of the Toscolano River. The exhibition will remain open until November 9, 2025, and includes a series of special events, such as guided tours and family activities. The exhibition not only enhances the local cultural heritage but also provides an in-depth look at the economic and social life of the area throughout the centuries. Admission is included with the museum ticket, making this unique opportunity to discover the historical roots of the Valley of the Paper Mills accessible to all. Italian Version
