Toscolano Maderno, June 17, 2024 – A team of volunteers gathered this morning at the former equestrian center for an important beach and local green areas cleaning initiative. The event, organized to celebrate the recent awarding of the Blue Flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education (Fee), was attended by the Tourism Councilor Luca Tononi and the Councilor with responsibility for Culture Monica Bombardieri. Also present were the guests of the CDD “Villa Dalla Rosa” and around fifty children from the Grest, accompanied by animators.
The Blue Flag was awarded to the municipalities of Toscolano Maderno, Gardone Riviera, and Sirmione for the quality of the water and tourist services offered. After a cleaning session at the Lido Azzurro, the participants celebrated with a slice of cake dedicated to the prestigious recognition. The initiative not only helped keep the local environment clean but also strengthened the sense of community among residents and visitors.
