Toscolano Opens Exhibitions Naturalmente Natura and Lèggere, Leggére at the Library
The Toscolano library opened two art exhibitions on June 6, “Naturalmente Natura” and “Lèggere, Leggère,” with artist Jennifer Ortega, Coretta Loda, and library president Marcello Cobelli present, marking the launch of two exhibition routes focused on sustainability and recycled art.
In “Naturalmente Natura,” Venezuelan artist Ortega presents works made from leaves, bark, berries, coffee, and turmeric, combined with reused materials and natural pigments, drawing on experiences in Hawaii and England. “Lèggere, Leggère” reimagines book pages as canvases through transparent watercolor, cutouts, and overlays to create new imagery from yellowed pages. Both exhibitions are accessible at the Toscolano library starting from the inauguration date.
