For the April 25th holiday, the Brescia side of Lake Garda reports a room occupancy rate of 50%, according to Andrea Maggioni, the vice president of Visit Brescia. The weather forecast indicates three days of sunshine and average temperatures, which is boosting reservations. Currently, the average price for a room in a five-star hotel is 571 euros, while for four-star hotels it stands at 211 euros and for three-star hotels at 128 euros. There is a noticeable increase in demand from American and Emirati tourists, although most bookings are coming from Italians.
On a national level, Confesercenti estimates approximately 6.1 million overnight stays during the Liberation Day holiday, marking an increase compared to last year. Interest in lakeside destinations is expected to rise by 2.8%, bolstered by the presence of foreign visitors. The data suggests that art cities will continue to attract the majority of tourists, but lakeside areas are also showing positive signs, contributing to the favorable trend of tourism in Italy during this spring period.
