A traffic accident occurred in the center of Castiglione delle Stiviere just before 9:00 PM yesterday, Thursday, April 3, involving a car and an SUV in a head-on collision. The two drivers, aged 41 and 59, sustained various injuries and were promptly assisted by medical personnel from the Regional Emergency Agency (Areu), who alerted local police and firefighters.
After receiving initial treatment at the scene of the accident on Via Cavour, both injured individuals were transported in yellow code to the hospital in Castiglione and the Poliambulanza in Brescia. Fortunately, they are not in life-threatening condition. The exact causes of the collision are still under investigation.
