A serious road accident occurred at dawn today, Wednesday, August 6, along the provincial road BS236 in the area of Montichiari, involving a young man aged 23. The incident took place around 5:20 AM when the car driven by the young man violently collided with a truck at high speed. Law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances of the event.
The young man was immediately transported in critical condition to the Civile Hospital in Brescia, thanks to the prompt intervention of medical personnel on board an ambulance and a medical car. Fortunately, the truck driver was unharmed and did not require hospitalization. Officers from the Traffic Police also arrived at the scene to conduct investigations and manage vehicular traffic, which experienced significant disruptions during the rescue operations and the securing of the area.
