Traffic accident in Monzambano: pedestrian killed by SUV during maneuver

A tragic traffic accident occurred yesterday afternoon, Friday, September 26, in Monzambano, where a 48-year-old man from Moldova, residing in Cavriana, lost his life after being struck by a maneuvering SUV. The incident took place in a parking lot located between Valeggio Road and Marconi Street; here, the driver, an 84-year-old retiree from Sommacampagna, reportedly accidentally pressed the accelerator while attempting to enter a parking space, hitting the pedestrian who was standing under the awning of a commercial establishment.
