A serious traffic accident caused significant disruptions on the Lower Garda today, Saturday, November 30. The incident occurred on provincial road 11, between the exits for Desenzano south and Rivoltella, where two vehicles were involved in a violent head-on collision. Emergency services, including an ambulance, a medical car, and a helicopter from Brescia, quickly arrived at the scene to assist three injured individuals; two of them were transported in yellow code to the hospitals in Desenzano and Civile in Brescia.
Traffic on the ring road was blocked to facilitate rescue operations and ensure the safety of the area, with support from the traffic police and firefighters. This situation resulted in long queues, further complicated by the presence of numerous visitors drawn to the beautiful sunny day.
