Training sessions for tourism operators focusing on Arab and American tourism will take place between Desenzano and Salò. This initiative stems from the need to enhance the skills of hospitality operators in response to the growing number of visitors from these emerging markets. The Consorzio Lago di Garda Lombardia has organized a series of free events in collaboration with the Observatory for Tourism of Lake Garda, where industry experts will provide practical guidance on how to best meet the needs of Arab and American tourists.
The events will be held on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21, at the Sala dei Provveditori in Salò and the Sala Brunelli in Desenzano, respectively, featuring speakers such as Professor Wael Farouq, who will address Arab tourism. Following this, on Tuesday, April 1, and Friday, April 4, Professor Amanda Clare Murphy will discuss American tourism. Participation is free but requires prior registration through an online form or by contacting the relevant office. The meetings will also be accessible online for those unable to attend in person.
