Traubenkur Grape Cure 2001 Opens with Wine, Music, and Tours
The “Traubenkur – Grape Cure 2001” begins this weekend. The opening ceremony is scheduled at the municipal casino at 5 PM today, featuring the traditional free distribution of must and grapes and the opening of an exhibition dedicated to “Sparkling Wines and Grappas of Trentino.” The opening event will be accompanied by a concert by the Banda Sociale di Dro e Ceniga.
At 8:30 PM, there will be a concert by the Moonshiners group in the inner courtyard of the Rocca, performing traditional Irish music. The event will continue tomorrow with a performance by the Coro Lago di Tenno (11 AM) on the veranda of the Casino, while an hour earlier, the tasting points of Torbole and Riva will also open. Under the porticoes of the town hall, a branch of the exhibition on wines, sparkling wines, and grappas of Trentino will be open.
Events and Side Tours
The festival will conclude on October 7 after three intense weeks of appointments and ancillary initiatives. Among these are the harvest tours scheduled every Wednesday, including visits to a vineyard to witness the grape harvest at Cantina Madonna del Vittorie di Linfano, where the winemaking process will be explained, and the Traubenkur in Arco with a showcase of wines.
The gastronomy itineraries, planned for all Fridays, include stops at the Angeli Distillery of Dro, the oil mill with cold-pressing of Bertamini olive oil, and finally at the Azienda Agricola Pedrotti (where, in addition to the visit, a tasting of the precious Vino Santo with a light snack is scheduled).
