A new trekking project is taking shape in Toscolano Maderno, thanks to the collaboration between the municipality and the CAI of Salò. A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the aim of enhancing the local trail network, including the creation of the “Anello del Serà,” a three-day itinerary that will wind through the existing mountain paths. The route, intended for experienced hikers, will feature scenic viewpoints such as Monte Pizzocolo and Spino, promising an immersive experience in the area’s natural beauty.
The agreement, approved by the council led by Mayor Chiara Chimini, also includes measures to standardize trail signage and improve maintenance. The Public Works Councillor, Vittoria Goi, emphasized the importance of this project in promoting safe and sustainable use of the territory. The duration of the memorandum is set for three years, with a municipal contribution of approximately 26,000 euros to the CAI to support activities related to the enhancement of the mountain trails.
