A new memorandum of understanding has recently been signed between the Municipality of Toscolano Maderno and the Cai of Salò, aimed at enhancing the local hiking network and creating an innovative trekking route. This agreement, approved by the municipal council led by Mayor Chiara Chimini, includes the establishment of the “Anello del Serà,” a circular path that will develop along existing mountain trails, designed for experienced hikers. The project aims to promote safe and sustainable access to the mountainous territory.
The “Anello del Serà” will feature scenic points such as Monte Pizzocolo and Spino, traversing some of the most picturesque ridges in the area. Additionally, the protocol includes measures to standardize trail signage and maintain the necessary areas. The duration of the agreement is three years, from 2025 to 2027, with a municipal contribution to Cai of approximately 26,000 euros. The official presentation of the new route will take place during the upcoming Mountain Festival.
