Saturday 26 September at 20:30 at the Museo MUST in Tremosine, don Gabriele Scalmana will present the book Note tremosinesi, along with updates to the volumes Le Chiese Tremosinesi and Tremosine. Breve Guida. The event, organised by the Comune and the Pro loco, is intended as an opportunity to rediscover the roots and identity of the local community.
Don Scalmana, born in Tremosine in 1945 and ordained a priest in 1970, has spent years researching local history. Now retired and serving as a collaborating presbyter for the parish of San Giovanni Battista, he presents studies that offer an important contribution to understanding the community’s historical, cultural, and socio-economic context, including how the town has changed over time and the traditions, language, monuments and people who have shaped its history.
