Trento’s Christmas Torchlight Procession Sees Monsignor Bressan, Raises Funds

Among the thousands of people who will march on the afternoon of December 8th for the eleventh edition of the Christmas Torchlight Procession, will also be Vicar of Trento, Monsignor Bressan. The organizing committee announced the extraordinary participation, along with the list of nine organizations or groups that will benefit from the funds already beginning to be collected this year.

The involved groups include: Aiutiamoli a vivere for Belarusian children, Tribunale per i diritti del malato, Mato Grosso di Arco, Anffas di Arco for the purchase of a minibus, Gruppo missionario di Varone, Centro di aiuto alla vita di Riva, Gruppo missionario di Oltresarca for aid to Sister Elisa in Togo, Volontari della Cri di Ledro, Missioni Marianiste for Father Galas in Ecuador.

Other initiatives

The committee is also organizing the placement of the Underwater Nativity Scene at the port of Piazza Catena from December 2nd to January 13th, and the Epiphany Festival on the 6th.
