An important twinning between the Municipal Councils of Boys from Salò and Sirmione will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, with a symbolic meeting at the Sala dei Provveditori in the Salò municipality. This initiative aims to promote the exchange of ideas and projects among young council members, addressing themes such as the environment, culture, and sustainable tourism. The Mayor of Salò, Francesco Cagnini, along with Councilor Marcella Merigo, expressed gratitude towards the municipality of Sirmione for the enthusiasm shown in supporting this proposal.
During the event, the Mayor of the CCR of Salò, Pietro Preziosa, will welcome the young people from Sirmione along with their respective mayors and school principals. A scroll will be signed to formalize the commitment to future collaboration, and an ambassador of kindness will be appointed. Additionally, messages written by the participants will be hung on the kindness tree created by the sculptor Angiolino Aime. Thanks to the collaboration with the Fondazione Opera Pia Laicale and the Istituto Lodroniano, guests will also have the opportunity to visit the Mu.Sa. for free, participating in an artistic educational workshop in connection with the event related to “M’illumino di meno.”
