Ulisse Event at Palazzo dei Congressi to Guide Young People’s Future
The “Ulisse” event
The schools’ fair. At the Palazzo dei Congressi, in the middle of next month, the first edition of “Ulisse” will take place, an event organized by local schools and the University of Trento with support from Iprase and the councilors Molinari and Marino, to contribute to guiding young people.
The starting point concerns the ever-increasing number of young people who (also following the one-year extension of compulsory education) find themselves at odds with the reality they have, for reasons unknown, chosen.
For them, and their families, all the active schools in the Alto Garda territory, from middle schools to high schools and vocational schools, as well as the University of Trento, will set up booths to present their respective offerings to the potential “clients”.
Program and activities of the event
A first part of the event, mainly aimed at high school students and concentrated on Saturday, November 18, will be dedicated to making visible to the community all those initiatives already underway in the schools, including topics related to university choices.
On Monday, following the meeting dedicated to students in the first two years of high school, the afternoon will see students, upon request and pre-registration, engaged in discussions with experts from Iprase, the Rotary, the Employment Agency, and the Federation of Cooperatives about the skills required by the job market for those approaching it for the first time.
Objectives and statements
“Ulisse” — as this journey of self-discovery to determine one’s direction is called — aims to become a regular event, annual in nature, and a well-known reference point for students.
The Iprase, said Draghicchio, is willing to try to establish this innovation, the territorial centers.
