Underwater cleaning in Gardone Riviera: 65 divers in action

Next Sunday, **65 divers** will plunge into the waters of **Gardone Riviera** to take part in an important **clean-up initiative**. The event, organized by Deep Explorers – Deep Underwater Research led by Angelo Modina and sponsored by the local administration, marks a record participation for this activity. The divers come from various locations, including Merano, Trento, Bergamo, and Brescia, with the added novelty of the presence of the freediving group Tritone Sub from Desenzano.

Modina expressed his satisfaction with the high turnout and emphasized the support received from local businesses, such as Bar Riviera on the lakeside, which will serve as the operational base, and Bar Al Folle in Maderno, which will provide prizes for the most unique finds. Additionally, the initiative will also involve elementary school children in the “Let’s Clean Up the World” project, highlighting the importance of environmental awareness within the community.
