The underwater nativity scene in Cisano kicks off the December festivities with two special events organized by the Gas Diving School association. The first ceremony will take place on Sunday, December 1st at 11:30 AM, when the submerged nativity scene will be blessed and placed in the port of Cisano. Following that, on Friday, December 6th at 4:15 PM, a similar event will occur at the port of Bardolino, coinciding with the feast of San Nicolò. Both occasions serve as a moment of gathering for the local community and will herald the start of the Christmas celebrations.
In addition to the installation of the underwater nativity scenes, the program for December 6th will also include activities for children, such as the chance to meet Santa Claus and participate in a Christmas tombola. The day will culminate in the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza Matteotti, accompanied by performances from the “Lake Sound Gospel” choir. These events provide a wonderful opportunity to experience the festive atmosphere in the area and share special moments with friends and family.
