As announced during the public assembly on July 8, 2024, the urban redevelopment works in the historic center of Moniga del Garda will commence on October 14, 2024. These interventions will particularly focus on Via Carlo Alberto and Piazza San Martino, as well as a new roadway.

Details of the Works

The first phase of the project involves the installation of a new aqueduct and sewage system on Via Carlo Alberto. The estimated duration for this phase is approximately three months. The work will be carried out by a company contracted by Acque Bresciane S.r.l., which will necessitate the closure of vehicular traffic in certain areas of the street.

Initially, the closure will affect the section between the gas station and the intersection with Via Cialdini. Subsequently, it will extend to the intersection with Via Namponti. During the intervention, pedestrian access to residences and commercial activities along Via Carlo Alberto will be ensured; vehicular access for residents will also be maintained, as much as possible.

Pedestrianization of Piazza San Martino

Once the redevelopment of Via Carlo Alberto is completed, the full pedestrianization of Piazza San Martino will take place. Again, pedestrian access to homes and commercial activities in the area will be guaranteed.

Communications to the Citizens

All citizens are encouraged to closely follow the announcements published on the official website of the Municipality of Moniga del Garda, where orders regarding changes in road circulation during the construction period will be communicated. The link to access the site is: Municipality of Moniga del Garda.

Mayor Renato Marcoli expresses gratitude for the patience shown by the citizens during these necessary interventions aimed at improving the local historic center.
