Vaccinations and Health Prevention: the Tignale Project in Alto Garda

On September 8th, **Tignale** hosted the “ASST Garda Coast to Coast” project, an initiative dedicated to **health prevention** and **vaccinations in Alto Garda**. The ASST Garda prevention van began its tour through the municipalities of Alto Garda and Valle Sabbia, aiming to make healthcare services more accessible to the local population. During its stops, family and community nurses were available for health promotion activities and to provide free vaccinations.

The vaccinations offered include the anti-Herpes Zoster and anti-Pneumococcus for individuals over 65, DTP vaccines for the general population, anti-Tick-Borne Encephalitis for minors in at-risk areas, and anti-Papillomavirus (HPV) for boys and girls aged 11 to 25. The van will continue its journey through various municipalities until September 19th, representing an important opportunity to strengthen the connection between healthcare professionals and citizens.
