Val di Ledro Retail Spot Reopens in Tiarno di Sopra with Renovated Supermarket and Ribaga Family

Val di Ledro’s renovated supermarket and its attached bar and bistro were officially inaugurated in Tiarno di Sopra on Friday, marking a significant upgrade for the Ribaga family business. The event was attended by provincial councilor Roberto Failoni, Mayor Claudio Oliari, Deputy Mayor Luca Zendri, and local community members. Failoni highlighted the family’s 77-year history in the area and their participation in the Terzo Bando Qualità in Trentino for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

The ceremony featured speeches from representatives of local commerce organizations, a blessing by Father Franco, and family members of the Ribaga lineage. The business, established in 1949 as a small fruit and vegetable shop, now spans over 900 square meters and employs five family members and nine staff. It offers a three-pillar service model: a supermarket with gastronomy, a lunch bistro, and a catering service.
