Visit Bardolino Museum to Explore a Century-Old Olive Oil Production Heritage

In view of the guarantee seal, which on every bottle of extra virgin olive oil will confirm the product’s superior quality at 100% starting from September, why not make a visit to the “Museum di Bardolino” and follow the precious food through images of the production process?

The guiding thread through the gallery is the rural artisan mill created at the dawn of industrial technology. The displayed structures are almost all made of wood, highly valuable and rare, bearing witness to a unique production system that, for over a millennium, has fascinated and engaged rural populations.

It is located in Cisano di Bardolino, and visits are completely free; schools are welcome. Among the exhibits are an ancient lever press, a millstone from Baveno, screw presses, and a 19th-century mill, reconstructed with absolute fidelity and still operational.
