Visit Brescia Launches Press Tour Connecting Brescia and Lake Garda With International Journalists

A press tour organized by Visit Brescia, in collaboration with the Consorzio Garda Lombardia, ran from 21 to 24 June 2026 and hosted journalists from Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Austria, targeting an estimated reach of over 4 million readers. The trip was built around an integrated “City and Lake” package, highlighting the Vittoria Alata and combining scenic trekking with outdoor activities to showcase the area’s historical, natural and food-and-wine heritage.

The itinerary started at Brixia – the archaeological park of Roman Brescia and the Museo di Santa Giulia, then moved to the Rocca di Manerba Nature Reserve for soft orienteering and a treasure hunt. It also included a boat ride to Gargnano, stops in Piovere di Tignale and Tremosine along the Bassa Via, and visits focused on biodiversity in the Parco Alto Garda Bresciano and local gastronomic excellence, ending with a kayak excursion in San Felice del Benaco with views of the Isola del Garda. Participating outlets included Kronen Zeitung (about 1 million copies; 2.1 million readers), Nürnberger Nachrichten/Nürnberger Zeitung (about 216,000 copies; 630,000 readers), Schwäbische Zeitung (155,000 copies) and ALPS Magazine (55,000 copies).
